Air Canada’s Advantage For Travellers to USA
While the vast majority of US-based carriers charge a flat fee of $200 for changes to itineraries for transborder and domestic travel, Air Canada offers travellers greatly reduced penalties under most circumstances, particularly for changes made to flight itineraries more than two months prior.
For example, for changes made more than 61 days in advance, travellers on Air Canada booked in Standard economy class fares will pay only $25, and $100 for changes made within 60 days of travel.
Even better, travellers with Flex economy fare tickets pay just $25 for changes made 61 days or more and $50 for changes made within 60 days of travel.
Comfort economy fare offers waived change fees more than 61 days in advance, and $25 within 60 days of travel.
Air Canada’s change fees are charged per fare component (usually this means per direction) and are also subject to any fare difference that may apply.
